a vinyasa style practice, offered exclusively at yoga source, designed to integrate the core through traditional sun salutations and a variety of “core-centric” postures. this class will supplement any style of practice by offering stabilization exercises for the abdominal, pelvic, and spinal muscles. emphasis will be placed on ujayii (victorious) breathing and bhandas (internal locks) to stimulate a deeper awareness of internal heat. postures are practiced on the back, on all fours, seated and standing.

    level 1.5: advanced beginner - intermediate
    build strength, endurance and stability throughout the abdominal, pelvic, and spinal muscles with the use of breath, bhandas, and “core-centric” postures (1+ yrs experience)

    level 2: intermediate - advanced
    deepen your understanding of all things core - the abdominal, pelvic, and spinal muscles, bhandas, and breath work. learn how to utilize breath and bandhas to initiate hand, arm & standing balances and preparatory inversions. (2+ yrs experience)
