spread your wings: yoga for healthy shoulders

The practice of yoga postures or asanas can be physically demanding on your shoulders. Why shoulder the weight in our practice when our shoulders are already affected in our daily lives: hours at the computer, in our cars, slumped in chairs?

about the workshop


Learn basic anatomy of the shoulder and its actions and put it to practical use in basic to more challenging asanas. Discover, with proper alignment, how to work effectively with your muscles and bones to keep your shoulders healthy. Spread your wings and soar to familiar and unfamiliar territory with lightness and confidence!

prerequisites: Lecture and asana for students of all levels. No therapeutics, please. Consult your doctor for injuries.

$45 by May 13th
$50 after May 13th
yoga alliance approved ~ $5 additional for CEU certificate
community discounts available; does not apply for CEU certificates

registration & attendance
Registration required to attend. Please call 804.359.YOGA (9642) to enroll. Spaces limited. Students must check in at the front desk before entering the classroom.

refunds & cancellations
There are no refunds after May 13th. All cancellations will be charged a one time $15 administrative fee. In the event of illness or emergency, credit will be issued to your account only if notified before the start of the workshop. No credits issued on or after May 13th.

yoga source reserves the right to cancel a program at any time. if this is necessary, a full refund will be issued.
